In 2022, Feburary 24th, Putin who is a president of Russia ordered his military to attack Ukraine. Not only Ukraine’s metropolitan but also capital, Kiev is seriously suffering. There are over 250 million of refugees from the war Ukraine.

The reason why Ukraine and Russia are fighting each other is because Ukraine tried joining the EU and NATO (North Atlantic Treaty Organization and European Union). Russia didn’t want Ukraine having access to the EU and NATO military support. So, they thought war can stop Ukraine’s strategy. But, because of Russia’s greed, the citizens of each country need to bear the consequences, even though they don’t want to. In that situation, refugees who have had to go to another country after left their motherland is increasing. In march, there were 250 million refugees from Ukraine. Countries which are near from Ukraine wanted to give a help but it was too vague to accept or refuse. Many of the European countries agreed to accept refugees for 3 years. ( maximum )

I have a doubt as to why the Ukrainians need to be harmed and have their peace destroyed because of Russia’s economic greed. In addition, global citizens are anger about the coming many of victims including children. We need to put in effort into helping Ukraine refugees because of the value of life and our wish for Ukraine's peace, as we are global citizens.
